Youth Fitness Squad
Youth Fitness is the mid-level squad in our Youth Stream, designed for swimmers aged 11–14 who are ready to further build their skills, speed and overall fitness. This team-oriented squad supports both competitive and non-competitive swimmers, offering a balanced environment where athletes can progress confidently, strengthen technique, and enjoy training alongside peers with similar goals.

Requirements
To participate in this squad swimmers are required to:
Attend 2 or more classes per week
Be approximately 11-14 years of age
Demonstrate good technique and an ability to cope with the required training volume and intensity
Class times
Swimmers may attend any/all of the following classes:
Monday 6.30-7.30pm Huntingtower
Tuesday 6.00-7.00pm Huntingtower
Wednesday 5.00-6.00pm MARC (outdoor)
Thursday 6.00-7.00pm Huntingtower
Friday 6.30-7.30pm Huntingtower

Training takes place during school terms and during some school holidays. Please refer to the training break page for details on breaks.
Competitive swimming
Swimmers at this level have the option to participate in competitive swimming if they wish.
