Absences
Please see below for information on absences and how to request a squad hold for medical and planned absences.
Scheduled training breaks typically occur during school holidays for 1-2 weeks.

For absences of less than two weeks, fees are not adjusted and no action is required.
Swimmers may wish to attend additional sessions when they return.

If a swimmer is unable to attend training for at least two weeks for medical reasons supported by a medical certificate, a request can be made to hold the swimmer's place in the squad. A squad hold fee applies — $40 for 2–4 weeks / $80 for 5–8 weeks.
Please submit the request promptly, as the squad hold will apply from the date the request is submitted.
Squad level is reviewed on return from extended absences.

Requests must be submitted at least 7 days before the absence begins. Squad holds for planned absences are limited to two per calendar year.
Squad level is reviewed on return from extended absences.
