Tateswim believes in keeping swimming fresh and exciting, so we have created a program consisting of a great range of specialty classes to complement the traditional training. With many different styles ranging from Surf-swim to Team-swim, there is something for everyone. Click here to check out all the classes.
Dry-land training forms part of the overall program for swimmers in Youth and Senior levels. The dry-land training is normally held on Friday afternoons. Activities include: circuit training, body balance, cycling, boxing, running and access to weights and cardio equipment at the MARC gym.
Although the Tateswim Fitness Program generally attracts non-competitive swimmers, the option to compete is available to all swimmers. Swimmers wishing to compete will need to join our club, the M1 Swimming Club. M1 Club members can enter competitions as selected and attended by the Tateswim coaches. Click here for more information.
Throughout the year, swimmers will have the opportunity to take part in various social events. This may include swimming camps, movie days, open water swimming, bike rides and squad dinners. Click here for events.
